In this world there are many forms of religion. Different forms of worship take place to many different Gods or Idols all over the world every second of our Human time.
Some kneel on mats in certain direction at a certain time of the day and pray to their God. Some kiss walls and pray in front of these walls. Some pray to the earth and give thanks to nature and pray to many different Gods. Others chant and go into a self-hypnotic state. Meditation is practiced by some, where these people go into their inner selves and achieve great inner peace.
What I want to talk to you about in this book is the practice called "Channelling". It's not what one would call a religion, others might, but I don't, it's a practice where you learn to love and understand yourself, then you can learn to love and understand other people; even people who are violent towards you or don't treat you right. You can learn not to take it personally and that it's not your problem, it's theirs. This is a big ask for anyone, and I certainly haven't mastered it yet, but, who knows. But to achieve this is a big part of the practice.
The "Channelling" part comes in as a basis of the practice. A "Spirit" will talk through a chosen person, or persons, or it may be another form of Channelling, as there are many. Spirit also gives a group of people or one person advice on their journeys through life.
Of course there is always some doubt in every religion or practice, but this practice has certainly changed my life for the better. At least I have seen positive proof of things that exist out there because of this practice. But, in saying that, no one has the right to knock any religious belief. If a belief gets people through life's problems and journeys, who are we to knock it? If there is an almighty God, who says he doesn't appear to everyone in the form they believe he is in, or she is in? In life and in death.
